New wholesale partnerships support organic growth at Feltham’s Farm

Somerset-based Feltham's Farm has announced details of three new wholesaler partnerships across the UK, expanding its reach significantly as demand continues to grow at the certified organic dairy.

New wholesalers now stocking Feltham’s Farm range of multi-award-winning products include fine food specialists, Carron Lodge in Lancashire, Suma Wholefoods in West Yorkshire, and Organic North, a member-run co-operative based near Manchester. With its organic cheese now available more widely in the North than ever before, Feltham’s Farm products also continue to be stocked with the likes of Rowcliffe, The Fine Food Company, and The Fine Cheese Co. further South.

This expansion marks another milestone in the development of Feltham’s Farm, which is increasing production despite a decline in the number of organic cheesemakers nationwide. With consumer appetite for organic food remaining strong across the wider food and drink sector, Feltham’s Farm founders, Marcus Fergusson and Penny Nagle are working hard to create new opportunities for organic cheese.

This work has been supported by a major haul of award wins in 2026, including the Best English Cheese trophy at the Artisan Cheese Awards, where the small lactic cheese, Lucky Marcel achieved a perfect 100/100 rating with judges. Also this year, Feltham’s Farm picked up a host of accolades at Great Taste, among them a 2-star rating for both Lucky Marcel and Rebel Nun, while La Fresca Margarita was named Best Fresh Cheese at the Virtual Cheese Awards in June.

As the profile of its organic dairy continues to rise, media exposure has helped to put Feltham’s Farm front of an increasingly broad consumer audience. Recent coverage in The Economist, Daily Express, Women’s Weekly, Good Housekeeping, The Observer and Countryside magazine, among other national publications, has increased awareness of the brand while also waving the flag for organic cheese and its better outcomes for climate, nature and health.

Marcus Fergusson, co-founder and head cheesemaker at Feltham’s Farm, commented:

“There have been so many exciting stages of development here at Feltham’s Farm, from early markets to new launches and big awards, but our growth and expansion this year has felt like a defining period for the business. We’ve increased production, achieved wider distribution and grown our brand awareness, while our organic cheeses are performing exceptionally at the major competitions - so we feel in a great position to push on into the next chapter of our story. With the help of our wholesale partners old and new, we’re ready to get more of our nature-friendly products on cheeseboards this Christmas, and far beyond.”

Cathryn Ruffell from Organic North added:

“Partnering with Feltham’s Farm was an easy decision for us after meeting Penny at a Food System Resilience Project workshop last year. The sheer quality of their artisan range blew the Organic North team away - particularly the La Fresca Margarita. Beyond making truly wonderful, award-winning cheeses, Penny and Marcus are fantastic advocates for the sector through the Organic Cheesemakers Network. With cheese season just around the corner, we are thrilled to offer this exceptional Somerset range to our network of independent retailers.”
